Rest Day 2 -Ribadeo

10-06-2019.  This has been a planned stop on the Northern Route for the sole purpose of getting to see the Cathedral Beach or Playa de Catedrais at low tide. They are 14k from Ribadeo and by now all the tours and buses are closed for the season.   We knew we’d have to call a cab in the afternoon.  In the summer you have to have reservations because it is so popular.

This morning was a very chilly drizzly morning, nice for sleeping in and having breakfast in the hotel.   By 12:00 it was just overcast and starting to clear a little so we walked up to the town square and watched the Sunday morning socializing, kids in the park and parents all having coffee and churros at the cafe tables.

Later we got a cab out to the beaches and had lunch waiting for the tide to go out so we could walk down to the arches.  They were spectacular.  Amazing what nature creates.   I took way to many pictures but here are a few.
