Our first spotting of a stork nest . Supper Big.
The day was spent on country roads, hobbit paths, and forest paths.
We were greeted at the first bar in Baaromonde KM101 with free favsa calamari soupa. The albergue in town had 96 beds so we opted to go a bit further to a Pension. What a surprise ... to find it was a grand “truck stop”. Ended up being fine but not the greatest.
Above a truck lift and next to a truck wash.
Later we walked back into town to see a 500 year old chestnut tree that an artist had carved out the inside of and made a museum garden. Not what you might imagine but still cool.
99.994 to go and we started at 387 km to Santiago so we are much closer.
